PALM SUNDAY

"You think I'm pretty without any make-up on..." 

That song woke me up when my phone alarmed at 6am. Although the day started with a sad news about the death of AJ Perez, my palm sunday was still blessed. I attended the Feast PICC for the first time with my friends Wina, Joy, Madz and Anna. We had a chance to have a picture with our "Tito Bo". We also asked him to write a message for a "friend". My friend, Joy, did not give up until she succeeded. Then after the Feast, we had a meeting with the rest of the medical team. My friends and I volunteered as nurses on the Feast easter celebration on the 24th. Since I'm not doing anything yet, might as well use my free time serving Him. :)

After that meeting, we planned to go somewherew. Wina, Joy and I had already planned weeks before to watch anothe football game in Umak. We really felt good about watching that game because we all felt that "THAT DAY WILL BE THE DAY". During the talk of Bro. Bo earlier at the Feast, he kept on saying "God will never give up on you". That phrase struck us and left us all smiling for a while.

The day was really sunny. It was a very hot day. We walked from PICC to Taft. I felt really tired actually but I didn't really mind it because I was too excited for something. From Taft, we rode a jeepney going to Libertad then to Greenbelt. We had our lunch first at McDonald's then we went straight to Umak. Before going there, we planned what to tell our friend and how to give him that "special gift". When we're already in Umak, our feet led us to the yellow seats. I felt that fate led us there because the players sat few rows in front of us. But I swear we did not notice that they were there. We had a good view of our crush who was sitting 3 rows ahead of us. The admin of HY-A tumblr site was also there and she was in front of us with her friends. I was also with my friend from grade school/HS and her cousins. I asked her help to help my friend give the gift to Pop-ah-pea. Then his sister approached us and asked us what would we like to give her brother. Then she and Joy talked and the sister said that she'll give it to Pop-ah-pea. :)

Just a few minutes before we left, one player from Global FC, Misagh Baharodan, sat behind us and my friends took the opportunity and asked for a photo with him. He is a really nice guy, very cute. I regret that I did not have a picture with him. I missed that chance again. We also approached Jerry Barbaso and took pictures with him.

Goal met on the invite and gift giving part for Pop-ah-pea. Fail on the "picture-picture" part.

Many people love twitter including my friends and I. But yesterday was a memorable day for my friend , Joy. It's different from the q4 moments we had because her name was specially mentioned on a tweet! "HABA NG HURR MO TEH! IKAW NA!!!" :)))

What a blessed day we had yesterday. I loved God's message to us not to give up on our dreams and He will never give up on us. Very positive.

I wrote this entry last night.

Since it's brownout right now and I got nothing to do, I will just write something about what happened earlier. My friends, Joy and Wina, and I decided to watch the football game in Umak. It was originally scheduled last Sunday but it was re-scheduled. So when the day finally came, I was so excited to watch the match. I was also excited to see someone again. HAHA! I was too excited that I couldn't sleep early the night before and I was texting my friends more than usual.

When we arrived in UMak, as soon as we entered the gate of the oval, I already saw the players having warm up and my eyes were immediately glued to that one player wearing yellow :) We sat on the green-colored seats while waiting for our friend Wina. We planned to transfer seats as soon as our friend arrives but I guess fate led us to those seats because a few minutes after we sat there, our favorite player walked in front of us. Our plan was to say hi and re-introduce ourselves in case he couldn't remember us. But when we saw him becoming near us, we didn't know what to do. I couldn't even look at him so how on earth will I able to approach him and say hi?! I felt my heart skipped a beat. I think I held my breath for a few seconds when he was in front of us, good thing I did not turn blue. I was so happy. Another kilig moment that I will forever remember. He only passed by us and it made me really happy. What more if he talked to us? I think I'll have a heart attack! :))
