I don't know what should I feel right now. A few hours ago, I went to duty in QC. I was supposed to take care of a 3-month old well baby boy. It's actually my first time to "baby sit" for straight 12 hours. I tried my best to cary the baby and sing lullaby but the mother wasn't satisfied. She told me, "Hindi ka marunong magkarga ng baby". Actually, I felt that too. I don't know what's wrong with me but it felt awkward while I was carrying the baby. Maybe soon, when I already have my own baby, I'll learn how to do it perfectly.
The mother of the baby is nice. I think she is the daughter-in-law of a former Secretary of Defense. But I was really hurt when she told me, "pauwiin na lang kita kaysa dalawa pa kayo nung baby ang iintindihin ko". :(
She called our office and nagreklamo siya. I heard the whole "reklamuhan session". She said, "I asked for an experienced nurse and you sent me a 21-year old fresh graduate. She's just wasting my time and her time also..." Blah blah blah. Hindi ko na lang pinansin pero infairness, na-hurt ako dun ah. When she was about to give me the transportation fee (200 pesos), she asked if I have change (for 500). When I said, "wala po", inirapan niya ako. Ouch ha. I tried to cry to release whatever feelings I have but tears did not come out. Haha! Manhid na ako. Chos! Hinayaan ko na lang kasi di naman talaga ako sanay sa ganung work. May point din naman siya.
After that, I changed into my street clothes and went out of their house. When I was already outside, I couldn't remember the way back to the gate because I was fetched by their driver. So I just walked... and walked... and walked. I was so tired! I was trying to remember the streets that we passed by earlier but it was different. I went the wrong way. I walked for about 30 minutes before I reached the gate. Parang umakyat talaga ng bundok kasi may streets na pataas. Good thing I brought water kundi siguro dehydrated na ako ngayon.
Another memorable duty for me. Very tiring. Degrading.
