DIE HARD!

I know that I am a fan but I never imagined that I'll be a DIE HARD FAN!

It all started in December when Azkals became a household name. I just joined the bandwagon really!

At first, I noticed them because of their good looks. But when I watched their games, they are really good. 

(As if naman marami akong alam sa football noh?!! Hahahaha!) Neil Etheridge stole my heart! He is such a great goalkeeper! And he is so good-looking!!!! <3

I was not able to watch their other games aside from their match against Indonesia last December 19, 2010 (Game 2). It was my first time to watch football (as in!!) but I was literally screaming alone in front of the television! Hahahaha! But the Azkals did not win. But it's okay!

When they came home from Indonesia, they were instant celebrities (I think even before pa pala). They were always on TV... TV guestings, interviews, news, facebook and twitter! 

It all started when I watched Headstart on ANC. I heard that the Azkals will be their guests then so I set my alarm at 7:00am because I don't know what time headstart will be airing! But unfortunately, they were stuck in traffic and was not able to make it to the show. After the show, I went online the I read that the Azkals will be at the show called Mornings @ANC. I literally stopped everything I was doing and watched! I was so happy to see them on TV. I went back to twitter then I saw that there was a contest where you can watch Hardball live at ABC CBN where their guests will be the Azkals. I clicked the link and just posted the first thing that came into my mind. I really wanted to be chosen so I really hoped and prayed. Luckily, I was chosen!! I was so happy and was jumping and smiling all the time when I heard the news. It all started there. I am really thankful that the Hardball experience happened even though Neil Etheridge, Younghusbands and other Fil-foreigners were not there. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience because that was my first time inside the ABS CBN compound and to watch a live show. I also met other Azkals fans there, and they are die hard fans too!

This January, Azkals started their training again. I really wanted to go UMak but I don't have company! Luckily, my friend Wina likes sports and she joined me in my addiction! Hahahaha! I was so glad to see the Azkals train in front of me. :))) I was so happy to see them and I'm still waiting for the day that I will finally meet Neil Etheridge!

I'd like to confess that I am an addict. Borderline from being obssessed! Oh no!!! I'd like to pause for a while from admiring the Azkals but I can't! Especially now, my favorite Azkals members have their twitter accounts. I always tweet them especially Neil! I want to get a reply from all of them! That's my latest addiction, to get a reply from them. Hahahahaha! Forgive me! But I can't stop!!!

February is coming near. As much as I want to, I can't go to Bacolod because I don't have work yet and I can't pay my own plane ticket yet! But surely, I will support the team all the way even if I will not be there in Panaad Stadium on February 9. I will be in front of the television!!
